There are literally hundreds of small crafty items a person can make. Greeting cards, bookmarks, coasters, necklaces, bracelets, earrings and on and on. Let us look at a few unusual ideas for some small craft projects.

Are you taking a trip where you will be on a plane, train, bus or car for long periods of time and are looking for something to keep yourself occupied? Prepare a travel size craft kit. Choose things to make that don’t require any tools or maybe just a small pair of pliers, and very little supplies. For instance bookmarks can be made out of ribbon from one inch wide to two inches wide, if you so desire. Place a sticker on it, or glue a polished stone or button on, something to make it unique. Of course if you knit or crochet you have only yarn and knitting needles or a crochet hook and all of this will fit nicely into your purse or carry on bag.
