Other unique gifts might include kitchen potholders or hot mats. These can easily be made from scraps of fabric, using their kitchen colors when possible. To make the hot mats a bit more special, fill them about 1/2 inch thick with a pleasant smelling herb. People love getting these, and tend to remember you each time they use them.
